Jonathan Lara
Lives and works in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Currently, Jonathan works as the Artistic Advisor to the Fine Arts Department at the University of Zulia. For a decade, he has participated in exhibitions in various countries including Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, France and Germany. In the past four years he has had regular solo exhibitions in his home state of Zulia and the capital, Caracas.
About Lara, the curator Alberto Asprino says: He belongs to that generation of emerging Zuliano artists that progressed in graphic arts to take on the responsibility of bringing new interpretations to the medium.
