Mario Labarca
Lives and works in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Mario Labarca is a graduate in Literature and Art; since 1988 he has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and participated in prestigious art salons in well-known exhibition venues and museums.
About his work, he says: "The gestural and expressionistic style can be seen in my paintings; I improvise, like a musician with chords of color. Painting is, for me, a spiritual trance that allows me to give transcendent content to every circumstance of life: loves, deaths and rebirths”
